AI for Pros: Navigating the Ever-Evolving Landscape of Artificial Intelligence in Business and Employment

A Note From Malcolm

“Summer time, and the livin’ is easy…”

This week in the US we celebrate Independence Day: BBQ, beer, baseball, fireworks, a few references to King George and all that.

Yet all of us should start thinking about a new form of liberty: breaking free from our addiction to technology. The average American now spends over 4.5 hours a day staring at their smartphone. For GenZ it’s more than 6 hours.  According to a Stanford study, our youth will spend at least 12 full years of their lives in their favorite yoga pose, downward-facing thumb. Sleeping now stands as the only human activity that consumes more time.

We weren’t wired for this: intellectually, socially, physically. And now we’re all part of a grand societal experiment, destination unknown.
