As we turn to 2026, it’s no longer about AI. It’s about you.

When we entered 2025, the conversation about AI was oddly impersonal. It was all silicon and spectacle: NVIDIA’s chips, the model wars, the breathless guessing about “the year of AI agents.”

As we exit 2025, that framing misses the point. The real story isn’t what AI can do; it’s what you do with it. And a clear separation is emerging between those who are AI-powered and those who aren’t. Some executives are using the right agents, in the right combinations, to multiply their output; to think faster, decide better, and act sooner. However, the majority still observe AI with an anthropologist’s curiosity (like David Attenborough observing a tropical butterfly), or mistake “super-search” for AI literacy.

In short, we’re in the middle of a management revolution: pre-AI approaches versus AI-powered ones. Executives who guess versus executives who know. Leaders guided by their own limited experience versus those informed by the accumulated experience of all.

If AI isn’t multiplying your abilities yet, well, you’ve just identified a prime New Year’s resolution.
